It's a Staycation in San Diego

Matt and I were supposed to go to Yosemite next week in a motor home but we decided against it. We are bummed, but it's just not the right time for us. We didn't think about how much it would cost. We started adding up gas in the motor home, boarding 2 dogs for a week, etc and we just can't go right now. We are going to plan the trip for next year and save up for it. Before Kennedy we could just go, no thoughts about it. Now, things are a little different!

So, we decided to enjoy our own backyard a little more. There is so much to do in San Diego and there is no reason why we can't so it. So, we are now on a staycation!

We went to the Cabrillo National Monument on Sunday and had a great time. The national monument is at the very end of Point Loma and it is the most beautiful view. It might be one of my favorite places to go in San Diego. There is a little hike you can go on that overlooks the city - soooo beautiful. Here are a few pictures to share....

What a great alternative. I agree, you live in one of the most beautiful places.
