Moe's Tile Company

Matt has been not only been very busy working overtime, but he has also been redoing our bathroom! He tore it all apart back in late December and he has slowly been putting it back together. The shower was a corner shower and too small for Matt to fit in so he couldn't use it. When we bought the house, we also knew that the shower pan was leaking and it needed to be replaced. Little did we know that it had been leaking for a long time and the floor under the shower was rotted and moldy. Good thing we tore it all apart and have replaced all that yucky wood. Our house is on a raised foundation so Matt had to tear out the sub floor and replace it because it was in such bad shape and all moldy. Yuck!

Matt' s dad and friend Mike have helped teach Matt how to tile and I have to say, I'm so proud of him! He is doing a great job and the bathroom is going to be beautiful. He is going to be a tile pro after this bathroom. Good thing because we have another bathroom that needs to be updated....

Here are some before pictures of the lovely, tiny OLD white bathroom:

Demolition time!!!....

And now, we are putting it all back together - we rearranged the bathroom so the shower is bigger, we moved the toilet and the vanity is going to be about half the size it was before. The red is a sealer for the shower - not paint.

I can't wait until it's done! It may still be a couple months, but hey, that's the fun part of home improvement job that you do yourself!
