Chicken Love

Yesterday we went to a neighborhood bbq with Cathy and Larry and got to meet some of our soon-to-be neighbors. I know I haven't mentioned our move on the blog before but I will give all the details in another post. So, we went to a bbq yesterday afternoon and had a blast.

The house where the bbq was, was a kids paradise! There was a putting green, a pond, a playground area with a zip line going from the top of the play ground to a tree at the lower end of the property. There was a chicken coop with about a dozen chickens and a bunny. Kennedy went right in that chicken coop and picked up a chicken. She was in heaven!! She carried that chicken around for a while. She picked up a couple other chickens too. I was proud of her - she wasn't afraid at all!
