Garden Joy

Yesterday Kennedy and I went out to the garden to see what was growing and what was ready to be picked. She was so funny because anything I pulled out she wanted to eat it right away. She ate snow peas, small carrots, tried to take a bite out of a raw beat and zucchini, and ate raw corn on the cob. It was so funny. She loved it!
Thee other day Matt and I were in the backyard and Matt noticed our banana plant/tree had some bananas that ripened on the plant. See, we have had bananas grow before but the whole bunch has fallen off before they were ripe so we had to throw them away. These bananas were almost too ripe but they were good! It was pretty cool to take them off and eat them right there. They aren't big bananas, probably half the size of normal bananas. So, we picked them and I made a bunch of banana bread yesterday.

Here are a couple pictures of Kennedy enjoying the garden food yesterday...

Look at that! Besides the fresh veggies from the garden, you have all those cool memories being made. It's amazing what a couple bucks worth of seed will grow!
