Kennedy's New Dolly and a runny nose - yuck!

Well, it was bound to happen. Kennedy was eventually going to get her first cold and it has now arrived. She woke up yesterday morning congested and it wasn't until this morning that it turned into a runny nose. It's so sad because nursing isn't easy with a stuffy nose. She is a trooper though. She is still her happy sweet self but a little crank at times with her runny eyes, sneezing and runny nose. She has a humidifier in her room tonight so hopefully it helps her sleep a little better. Poor thing!!

My mom has been wanting to take Kennedy to the Build-A-Bear store to get her a doll for a while so yesterday Kennedy and I went to Temecula with my mom. The store is really cute! It's just like Build-A-Bear (right next to it) and it's all soft dolls with different color hair, etc. Once you pick a doll, they stuff it, put a heart in it (and a sound if you want) and then you pick out clothes for it. There must have been 100 outfits for these dolls! Kennedy ended up picking a brunette doll with blue eyes and we got a ballerina outfit for her. Ok, she didn't really pick it... grandma and I picked it for her. When we were leaving we went through the Build-A-Bear store and got the cutest pink teddy bear with white hears all over it. Kennedy loves her Dolly and new bear. Thank you mom and grandpa for getting it for her! They kept her occupied in the car all the way home - one hour and 20 minutes.

Here are a few pics... oh, Kennedy is wearing one of the headband my mom made - soooooo cute!
