Kennedy's first boat ride

Hello everyone! Things here are going good. Working 3 days a week has certainly been keeping me busy! I am still adjusting to the running around, but all is going great. Kennedy has been in good hands between grandma Cathy and daddy.

This afternoon me and the girls from the office (all 5 of us) went to a champagne cocktail party. There is a group called FOCUS and they donate to local charities. They donated $1,000 worth of diapers, clothes, etc to Angels recently. They host this cocktail event every year and they ask all the charities to come and share how FOCUS has helped them.

The invitation said it was at a home in the Coronado Cayes. Now, for those of you who are not familiar with the Coronado Cayes, it is a private residence area on Coronado Island facing downtown and all the houses are right on the water. The houses have their own docks as well. It is just beautiful.

The invitation said that there was limited parking so we were to park at the Coronado Yacht Club and take a shuttle to the home. But the thing they didn't mention is, the shuttle was a boat! We were shuttled over to this unbelievable home right on the water. It was the kind of house that all the walls slide and move so the whole house opened up. Their yacht was sitting there on the water and it was huge! It was crazy!!

So, because of that shuttle, today was Kennedy's first boat ride! She didn't even seem to notice except on the way back, she fell asleep in my arms with the boat slightly rocking. Here are a couple pictures...

You cut your hair! It looks great! How fun to go Coronado. If I ever make loads of money that is one of the places on my list to live.
