Maverick

Maverick has surgery the other day to remove a tumor on his belly. It has been a small tumor for about the last year and then within a week it just got huge and looked like his skin was going to burst. We took him to the vet and they removed it. It was larger that a softball and they had to make a 12 inch incision! He has a body wrap with a drain around his midsection. The vet says it is cancer but we won't know what kind until we get the biopsy back. He is almost 9 years old so he is getting up there in age. He has been great since he got home and we are keeping him quiet and giving him lots of love.
