Baby Chicks

Yesterday we got three baby chicks! Kennedy is in heaven and holds them all day. I wanted to get a Buff Orpington chicken so I looked on Craig's list and found a lady that lives a few miles from me and she has a ton of chickens and chicks. On Craig's List she show pictures of Lavender Orpingtons and they were so pretty. She didn't have any grown ones so I got the three chicks. This is a first for me so lets hope I can keep these chicks alive. One of them already has a name of Freckles because her beak is pink but has a dark spot that looks like a freckle. Kennedy doesn't want to leave their side and is really good at holding them and is very gentle. Shelby on the other hand... She is still learning the gentle part.
