Chickens

Kennedy sure loves her chickens. She is out in that coop almost daily hanging out with them. And these chickens are spoiled! We went to the store the other day and she insisted I buy a bag of spinach for them to eat. So yes, my chickens are hand fed bagged spinach by my almost four year old. Today she sat in her chair in the coop and fed them kale. Our neighbor was kind enough to bring slugs from her yard over so Kennedy hand fed them slugs too.

I love watching Kennedy with those chickens. She gets right in there and picks those chickens up all be herself. So good for her!
