Kennedy's First Dentist Visit

Today, Kennedy went to the dentist for the first time. Our pediatrician recommended a dentist that happened to be right down the street from our house. I have been prepping Kennedy about the dentist but not quite sure what to expect when we got there.

She was perfect. The office is made for kids so it's all jungle theme and had a bunch of toys. She went right back with the assistant and sat in the chair to get all her xrays done. After that she had a full teeth cleaning and again, sat so still. They even used the suction straw and it didn't bother her at all. She was so excited that she got a goodie bag with a new tooth brush, toothpaste, floss and a little timer filled with sand that tells her how long she needs to brush her teeth.

Tonight she had to brusher teeth the full two minutes and even wanted to floss. After I flossed her teeth, she tried to floss all by herself. It was so cute and made me laugh. I was so proud of her and can't believe she is such a big girl.
