Today Shelby is 8 months old! I can't believe she is growing so fast. As I write this, she is crawling around the floor and pretty much getting everywhere she wants to go (of course with some frustration). Yesterday she crawled down the hall and in to Kennedy's room! She wanted to see what her sister was doing! She gets super proud if herself too. She starts to smile and giggle when she makes it to a new room or area she hasn't been before. This morning she actually pulled herself up to a standing position on one of her toys!
We weighed her this morning and she about 17 1/2 pounds and is about 26 1/2 inches long.
Shelby is a happy baby but also has quite a temper. If there is something she wants and can't have, oh man, watch out! She cries, turns red and will have good old fit! Terrifies me on what is coming when she gets older. But she is a snuggly baby and she loves Kennedy so much. Shelby likes to feel like a big girl - anything that the bigger kids are doing, she wants to be part of it. She is a good sleeper and sleeps in later than Kennedy ever did!
She has this little giggle she does when she is super happy and it just cracks us up. She will do this soft giggle over and over and over. Too cute! She is a pretty good eater and goes through her phases. One day she will eat great and other days not so much. She still has just the two bottom teeth.
Happy 8 months Shelby belby! We sure love you sooooo much!
