Happy 4 month birthday Shelby!! Today, my baby girl is 4 months old already. Wow! Earlier this week Shelby had her 4 month check up and she weighs 14 lbs 3 oz and is 25 1/2 inches long. She is 93rd percentile for height and 80th in weight. She is going to be a tall girl! She got three shots at the doctor appointment and as always, it breaks my heart. Shelby had a tough time recovering from the shots this time around as she got really really fussy and had a screaming and crying episode that lasted over an hour. Eventually the Tylenol kicked in and she started to feel better.
Shelby is such a snuggly and, for the most part, a happy baby. Her smile just seems to get bigger and bigger with those adorable dimples. She has started teething and drooling all over the place. I don't know if I mentioned this already but about a week and a half ago I moved Shelby to her own bedroom. She has been sleeping great. She sleeps for about 12 hours and gets up once or twice. She is a good little sleeper! She has also started to really use her voice. She squeals, grunts, laughs and babbles all the time.
